    Lhochhar

    Lhochhar is the new year celebrated by Gurungs and Tamus all around the world. Falling on the 15th of Poush, TSS does a celebration event in sydney. And based on the time that is preferrably suitable for everyone in the city, TSS organizes a Lhochhar celebration around the New Year’s date. Local artists do the performances volunatrily and have a schema of requesting a national public figure to join the event.

  • Buddha Jayanti

    Buddha Jayanti

    Buddha Jayanti is the celebrated on the full moon day of May. Buddha Jayanti is the day in which Lord Siddhartha Gautam, who later turned to Gautam Buddha with enlightenment spreading words and preaches of peace and love. On this holy occasion, TSS organizes events like Buddha Puja followed by Buddha Cup and Volleyball Tournament. Buddha cup is considered a well played football tournament, where teams come from around Australia.
