Words from the President

Tamu Samaj Sydney has always been there to save one of the most recognized culture in Nepal which is the Gurung Culture or the Tamu Culture. We believe as a Nepali, this is our identity that needs to be preserved. This is an organization to conserve and teach  the newer generation about the Gurung ethnic group of Nepal. We have volunteers who work round the clock to organize some of the major Gurung festivals like Lhochaar and Dashain of Nepal in Sydney, Australia.

As a president of TSS for the fiscal year 2018/19, it is an honor to help run the organization to the best of what the team can. I believe the organization is sharing some of the aspects of the culture and I am very happy to be a part of the team.
